The sustainable economy is here! According to the latest research, there are already more than 3 million clean energy jobs in the US -- and more jobs to come. In Pennsylvania, renewable energy jobs are growing faster than jobs in fossil fuel. The numbers are even better if you include sustainable agriculture and other clean economy sectors.

What can we do to attract sustainable economic development to our more rural counties and towns?

The Sustainable Economy Summit will inform you about types of renewable energy, energy efficiency and other aspects of the sustainable economy,
and help communities start to plan and implement sustainable development.

Speakers Include:

Jim Price - Sustainable Municipality Certification

Sharon Pillar - Environmental Entrepreneurs, Clean Jobs PA Report

Amanda Poole & Susan Comfort, IUP- Sustainability Education and Community Engagement

Dr. Terrence Collins - Green Chemistry- the transformation to healthy manufacturing

Allison Rohrs, Michael Sell, PA Wind Maps, St. Francis Institute for Energy
